Ultranet is New Zealand’s fastest growing Learning Management System (LMS), providing access to an advanced and intuitive online learning portal for more and more schools, teachers and students every month. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ultranet team for a passionate educator who is keen to broaden their horizons and develop themselves professionally.

The role involves:

• Working with new Ultranet schools to enable them to embed the LMS school-wide to its greatest potential;
• Providing training to teachers and senior management to improve their skills using Web 2.0 tools;
• Being able to confidently present and showcase the functionality and possibilities within the Ultranet LMS and talk knowledgeably about the benefits of online learning.

We’re looking for someone who...

• Has a strong background of innovative teaching practice and experience in the effective use of Web 2.0 tools within their teaching and learning programmes;
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels;
• Is a capable self-manager, who can also contribute with energy and enthusiasm as a team player;
• Would relish the opportunity to take time out of the classroom to widen their professional insight into how new online learning tools are enhancing learning programmes;
• Has energy and vision to contribute to the ongoing design and development of New Zealand’s fastest growing LMS.

NOTE: Successful applicants for this position will need to be based full-time in Auckland, but able to travel as required.
